Juicy @ NYFW
"Juicy Couture is making fashion fun again." – Vogue
In her second collection for Juicy Couture, Creative Director Jamie Mizrahi presented Fall/Winter 2018 at the historic Hotel Wolcott during New York Fashion Week this February. Inspired by the vintage location, Jamie tweaked Juicy’s luxurious-yet-playful style with nostalgic ’60s, ’70s and ’80s elements.
We all know and love Juicy Couture tracksuits, but Jamie began her latest New York Fashion Week presentation on a different note: featuring embellished dresses, statement outerwear and non-track separates.
Tie-dye, sequins and, of course, velour ruled the runway as editors from Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire and other media looked on. Numerous fashion influencers also attended, including Leandra Medine of Man Repeller and Arielle Charnas of Something Navy.
After wowing the crowd with everything else Juicy has to offer, Jamie concluded the show by sending dozens of tracksuits down the runway in fresh interpretations from leopard to glitter to brocade.
“Juicy Couture is synonymous with the tracksuit, an association that is a great source of pride for us. That said, as a global brand it’s important that consumers know we offer so much more.” – Jamie Mizrahi, Creative Director
