Do It | London Pleasure Gardens
Revel in this new outdoor event space that’s rooted in principles of old.
Wouldn’t it be awesome if the Pleasure Gardens of the 17th and 18th centuries could be brought back to life in a sprawling event space where visitors could stroll around, hang out, hear music, see shows and experience art and culture in a communal setting? Well, it has.
A brand new 20-acre site located in the heart of Olympic East London has recently been transformed into a bonafide wonderland known as the London Pleasure Gardens.
This is something you really need to see to believe.
In all, 35,000 people will be able to enjoy the refurbished grounds equipped with dance and theater arenas, an urban nature reserve, a boutique hotel, the largest mural in the UK, compliments of Shepard Fairey, a floating cocktail bar and more. So far, they’ve scheduled music artists, circus and promenade performers, film screenings, live art, community engagement projects and family activities, kicking off this weekend with the Paradise Gardens Festival.
If you can’t make it this weekend, not to worry. This is a pop-up event space that’s here to stay.
