Watercooler Talk | Dream Boats and Croque Madams

Our latest installment of Juicy office gossip: our weekend escapades included a sunset sail through Marina Del Ray and 48 hours in San Diego.

Marina del Rey — Every August my oldest LA friends and I rent a boat in Marina del Rey for a guy friend’s birthday. It’s tradition to pack as many people on-board to share our latest favorite songs and toast champagne to another amazing summer as we watch the sun set. We also end up picking our personal dream boats out of the hundreds that we pass in the harbor.

San Diego — I spent the most incredible weekend in San Diego and will definitely be visiting again soon! My boyfriend was DJ’ing downtown on Saturday night so we decided to make a weekend trip out of it. The weekend’s best moments included Cafe Chloe‘s Croque Madam for brunch, Sunday afternoon at The Zoo, exploring Balboa Park at sunset and a gorgeous beach day at La Jolla Shores. I used to spend two weeks of every summer at a beach house in Del Mar and this trip made me realize how much I miss it! The Del Mar Races are also high up on my list of San Diego To-Dos: anytime floppy hats, silk scarves and big sunglasses are involved, you can pretty much count me in!
