LA Anywhere | Top Dogs
Let’s be frank, gourmet hot dogs are taking over and quickly becoming our new best friend.
Sorry, Pink’s. The foodie frenzy has officially taken over LA’s hot dog scene and we have a new favorite. With the arrival of Fritzi Dog we plan on having many more hot dogs and not feeling bad about it. As if having a signature dog called “The Laurel Canyon” wasn’t enough, California favorite Chef Neal Fraser uses prime cuts of meat and serves these guys on either a brioche, pretzel, or gluten free bun. #yum! #thatshealthyright?
New York: With vendors on every other a street corner, hot dog rivalries in NYC are not to be taken lightly. Historically, hot dogs are a cultural and dietary staple for New Yorkers, which is why it was so difficult to pick a favorite. Ultimately we landed on Crif Dogs in Manhattan’s East Village as our go-to late night destination. The music is good, the staff is cool and the dogs are absurdly delicious. We recommend the Sour Cheese Dog (a dog with half-sour pickles and melted cheese) — game over.
London: While hot dogs might not be the first thing that come to mind when poppin’ a bottle of bubbly, we can’t say that combo sounds half bad. London’s latest (and arguably most bizarre) sensation Bubbledogs serves, you guessed it, hot dogs and champagne. Here, you can sip champagne and sink your teeth into
caviar a “Naked Dog”, “Horny Dog”, “New Yorker”, “Breakie” or whichever one of their gourmet recipes your heart desires.
