Guest Edit | Shea’s Spring Fling
Our darling Guest Editor Shea Marie teaches us how to brighten up our winter wardrobes… warm weather optional!
The weather in Los Angeles can be so unpredictable in the spring. One day it will be sunny, 80 degrees and everyone is racing off to the beach; and the next, cold and rainy. We really need to be prepared for everything! Today I’m going to talk about 3 ways to turn your winter wardrobe into spring friendly attire.
A Bright Coat: Try vivid red, cobalt blue or my favorite yellow-like the Juicy Tricotine Coat. It makes you stand out, of course you know us Juicy girls like attention, but it still keeps you warm enough on the days that are cold. Bright colored hues are much more spring friendly than the darker neutral tones of fall and winter. This coat is such a statement piece, try it on a cooler day over a simple outfit to a meeting or running errands around town.
A Great Pair of Sunnies: Even when the sun is shining, wearing flashy statement sunglasses in the winter doesn’t always feel right. But as soon as the temperature starts warming up go for something a little funky and edgy. Whether it’s a bright color or fun design like my favorite barbie inspired striped Juicy Couture sunnies, sunglasses are a great accessory for those whose careers and jobs require business attire. Step out for your lunch break, put on your fab shades and you’ve just turned your black suit into a stunner.
Cropped Jeans: Maybe it’s not warm enough to bust out your short shorts from last summer year, but your black leather leggings are getting just a little too worn in. Try something with a shorter hem. Cropped denim is a great option. Check these, or even cuff up your long skinnies perfect for a spring daytime look.
FYI! Her fabulous striped sunnies will be available in April! Shine on.
